CARD Coordinator and JICA representative in Cote d'Ivoire visit AfricaRice

Dr Yusuke Haneishi, General Coordinator of the Coalition for African Rice Development (CARD) Secretariat, accompanied by Mr Takuro Harada, Head of Economic Growth Program, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office in Côte d’Ivoire, visited AfricaRice headquarters in Abidjan, on 15 April 2019.  After a warm welcome by AfricaRice Director General Dr Harold Roy-Macauley and staff, a range of issues relating to the second phase of CARD was discussed. AfricaRice is a Steering Committee member of CARD.
